Happy Birthday Corban!!!!
My big man turns nine today! Wow. I remember when I was pregnant and everyone said enjoy this time because they grow so fast. I didn't understand it,but I am starting to. Nine years have flown by faster than I ever thought they would. While challanges and certain moments seem to take forever overall this has flown. So here we are nine years old!
I love this age! While he doesn't understand everything he sure is begining to understand the world. You can have actual conversations about opinion and why he thinks what he thinks. They are really challenged in school to get the facts and research what they are talking about. He is so smart and absolutely loves facts. He has more facts stored in his brain than I have ever heard. It doesn't seem to matter what we are doing he has a fact about it and they are correct.
He has the ability now to move past emotion and look at the situation. OK not all the time, but sometimes! Just this week he had to get some blood drawn and he did awesome. The lab technician probably got more questions then ever. He really understands each part of the process of drawing blood now! He gets tons of information from reading. He loves books!
He is my sweet boy. Very soft heart. He loves hugs and kisses. Well the kisses now have to be at home because we are in third grade, but he still loves them! He loves to curl up next to you and share a story! He really reaches out to the underdog in a crowd and I love it!
To MY best nine year old! We love you Corban! You are the best kid a mom could ask for!
