Corban is finally playing basketball. He has wanted to play for a couple of years, but it really doesn't start until 3rd grade. I love how they run the program and he has two awesome coaches. They have all the kids come and do a bunch of drills and then the next day all the coaches meet and draft their teams. Corban was so excited to find out several of the kids in his class were on his team. Both of the coaches love basketball and are so good at encouraging the kids. After several of the games I am so glad he has the coaches he does. They are not all so encouraging.
He has had five games so far with his last one coming up this weekend. He has improved a lot over the last six weeks. I have found that basketball is really fun to watch. I think I may have just found my favorite sport! He is already begging to go to the basketball camp this summer so he can improve that much more! So glad he has found something he loves doing!
