Miss Lillian Jane has turned four. I was discussing with Troy what it means to have Lillian in our lives. She brings so much life to our family. She is living up to her crazy entry into the world. She is a very spirited little girl, this causes conflict at times, but it also drives her forward. She is a very independent, determined, focused child. Simply suggest that she might not be able to do something and she is off to prove you otherwise. She is very sweet a loving and very social. Anywhere we go they know Lillian's name. At church we walk through the halls and everyone is saying hi to Lillian. When we go to the grocery store she talks to anyone who will listen and usually makes friends with every older couple before we leave. At Corban's basketball game a few weeks ago she spent the whole time on the lap of a Grandma and Grandpa of a classmate of Corban's. She hadn't met them until that morning. She takes after her momma which makes for lots of fun! She is much more social then I ever have been, but that makes life fun. I pray every day that God gives me the guidance and direction for parenting this special little girl.
So for her Birthday she started with cake for breakfast! Next she had a bubble bath. We had several errands to run so we started with a special snack at Panera. After several stops she picked a lunchable for lunch and then headed for a nap. She has been fighting a cold so the nap was a must. After her nap we got her all dressed up for her special surprise with Daddy. She picked mac n cheese for dinner so that is what I made. She was very clear that she wanted the box kind, not homemade. OK. Daddy got all dressed up and bought her flowers for their special date. Then they headed off to see Beauty and the Beast 3D. She has the Bell dress and loves this movie so this was awesome. They had the movie theater to themselves and she enjoyed dancing in the aile during the songs. She was beaming with excitement that it as just her and Dad! They headed home for ice cream and presents! Then it was off to a late bedtime. Whew....
