Saturday we went and picked out our pumpkins for this year. I didn't take the camera along..oops... Here is what we ended up with. I love how each of them carefully selects what they feel is the very best pumpkin available. Each pumpkin just as individual as our children! So the pumpkins spent the night Saturday inside warming up so the kids could carve them on Sunday.
Another great fall item is Cider and Doughnuts! We headed out to a local farm that has the BEST doughnuts! Yum! Sadly we bought 1 1/2 dozen and they were all gone in 24hrs. I realize just how bad that is, but that is just how good they are. We warmed up some cider for the kids and added a little Carmel for a fun bedtime snack. They loved it! It was a great family day! We came back home and made some popcorn and watched a movie together!
yum, our orchard does not make doughnuts- major bummer but I guess we do not need them anyway. I just made apple pizza though- yummy!
