Last weekend we went to a friends 40th Birthday Party. Part of me must stop after simply writing that and soak in that we are at the age where friends are turning 40. What a blast we had!!! Bethany's favorite thing to do when she was younger was roller skate, so her party was at the roller rink! Dressing up was mandatory and you could pick whichever decade from her life to dress up. Troy ended up with the 70's because he had an awesome leisure suit in the closet! I went with the 80's!
What a good time we all had. I was a little unsure how the little two would do rollerskating, but they did fine. Carson LOVED it!!!!! He isn't always so sure about new things, but they had a cart you could push in front of you and Troy showed him how to get back up after falling. He did so great! He kept slowly plugging away around the edge of the rink lap after lap happy as could be! They gave us a stroller that Troy could push for Lillian to ride in! She LOVED it! Troy crashed once and she flipped backwards, she wasn't so wild about this. Other than the one crash she was smiling wide while Troy pushed her around. Corban was so fun to watch. Most of my pictures didn't turn out of him. He pushed the cart around a few times, but then pushed it away and tried figuring it out on his own. I lost count of how many time he fell down, but he kept getting back. He was doing some pretty tricky things, but never complained about falling or how hard it was. We will have to go back skating again! They all had a great time.
