This year we let Corban do his own thing with his pumpkin. We offered suggestions of ways to go about it, but let him decide what and how he wanted to do it. We also let him take the knife and carve. I was a little nervous that he wouldn't be satisfied with how his pumpkin turned out. Troy gave him a piece of paper and suggested that maybe he would want to draw his face out on the paper first. Well not Corban, that boy headed right on into carving. Let me just say he gave it the same attention he give most of life. He was busy and focused and did an awesome job. He did a better job on his first pumpkin then I have probably ever done in all my life. I was impressed and very proud of him. He wasn't disappointed as I thought he might be when we started. He did a great job! Very talented at carving pumpkins. His only wish is for a bigger pumpkin in which he can carve more things. He ran out of room on this one before he ran out of ideas. Awesome job Corban!
