Thought we would share another craft we have been working on. Fall offers so many craft choices! So we this time we made turkeys! The kids painted a sheet of paper and we let it dry. Once it was dry I cut the paper into feather shapes for the turkey feathers. We cut a head from brown construction paper along with a mouth. We glued on some fun eyes and then glued the feathers and head to another piece of construction paper.
I let them glue the feathers where they wanted. Lillian's doesn't really look like a turkey, but she was so happy to be doing the craft and so proud of how it turned out! Carson of course stuck to exactly how it should be! We had a lot of fun! We have a few more turkey crafts we have done that I will post another day. Enjoy the pictures!

I think they turned out pretty cute!

Love them! They'd make cute place mats for Thanksgiving if you laminated them.
ReplyDeleteI love kid art, when the kids truly do them by theirself and they are imperfect. I guess the novelty of imperfection appeals to me.
They turned out so cute!! I love seeing all the fun things you do with your kids. I am so not creative. I hope you don't mind if I ever "borrow" any of your neat craft ideas. ;)
