What Gift Can You Give?

For the past 10 weeks Troy and I have been helping facilitate a class at our church called Restoring the Gift.  This 10 week class is a place for couples to restore the gift of marriage.  We have seen the power of God in our marriage and so badly want others to see if they fully rely and wait upon God he WILL show up and walk with them through the hurt and pain they have in their marriages.

So last night was the final night of the ten week class.  One of the activites was for each person to give their spouse a gift.  They were to write down something that they would commit to doing to help the marriage move forward.  It had to be measurable and positive.  Once they did this they were to find each other and exchange the gifts.  WOW, the power in this excersise.  One woman actually shouted WOW when she opened her gift.

All this to say what can you give as a gift to your spouse today?  We can all do something to improve our marriages.  As with all of life it is so much easier to say what our spouse could do, but today try to look at what you could do.  The info from this class was so awesome and I think I might share some of it in later posts!

So give your spouse a gift, then pray with them!  The blessing will be yours!
