A CLUE Anyone.....

Troy and I have been married for 10 years and whenever he asks what he could do that I would LOVE I always have the same answer. I would love for him to plan a date. This means not just showing up and having a good time, but that he would take the initiative and plan one, including the babysitter. We don’t have family close enough to come and babysit for us to go out for a date night so we always have to get a babysitter. I by default it seems am the manager of the babysitter group and making sure if we have somewhere to be that our children are covered. I have always thought it would be so nice to just show up somewhere and know that your spouse took care of the arrangements.

TODAY IS THE DAY…..Troy called me and told me to go and check to see if a certain bill was due where I found the following.

CONGRATULATIONS

You’ve been selected to receive a night of fun and excitement with the person of your choice (or your husband, whichever he chooses) on a surprise get-away! You’ve worked hard and you deserve it! Your night will start with ‘Family Game Night’ with your husband and ‘the boys’. After the kids are put to bed, you will be whisked away in a stretch limousine minivan! Before your departure you will have a choice of which type of get-away you would prefer.
Up first is a two week hour, no expenses paid, Nordic Alpine Pigeon Creek skiing adventure! Imagine you are your partner breaking trail through the beautiful Swiss Alps (or maybe learning to cross-country ski at Pigeon Creek in wonderful West Olive, Michigan!) Wear some warm clothes and get out of the house and get some exercise outside under the stars!
The other option is to take a drive across the country town to a location of your choice for desert or coffee, paid for by very selves. Relax in the company of your man and maybe a magazine while you enjoy a little treat.

So, what will it be? A snowy outdoor adventure or an indoor time to relax? It’s your choice! Who knows how the night will end?
ENJOY YOUR NIGHT!!!!!!

Now this is huge!!! After 10 years he has planned a date and taken care of all the details! I am so excited and sad at the same time. Carson has been sick for a few days and isn’t doing much better today so we can’t go on our well planned date. GRRRR…So we will have to postpone! But don’t worry Troy’s gets huge amounts of respect for this one!!!! So when we do finally get to go it will be very nice! I am very excited to learn to cross country ski, so we will be doing this date, eventually!
