This year things have changed a little because Corban is starting to read on his own. He is becoming a very good reader and is eager to read on his own! We go to Story time at the Library every week and Corban also gets to go to the Library at school. Corban first brought home every book the library had on snakes and spiders, but now we have moved on to drawing books! So he is also becoming a very good drawer as well.
So I thought I would show you what each of the kids has for thier personal favorite books!
So here are Corban's current favorites. Of course a drawing book, this changes weekly as far as what we are drawing. A book he got for Christmas, which is two books in one, called What is an amphibian and when you flip it over it is another book called What is a reptile. He also loves what we call readers, basically books at his level that he can read without help!
Carson loves I SPY books! That boy can look forever for something and is so happy and proud when he finds it! He also loves the Pout-Pout Fish book. This is such a cute book and I love reading it to him although I am pretty sure he has it memorized. Finally is Five Green and Speckled Frogs. He got this for Christmas from his teacher and does have it memorized. He "read" it to Grandma and Grandpa when they were here! It is so funny to watch him because he thinks he has you fooled and can read it to you! I love it!
Finally we have Miss Lilly. She loves all books. She doesn't really have a favorite yet. She really likes Strawberry Shortcake, but will sit and listen to anything.
