Christmas @ The Lancaster's

Merry Christmas one final time for 2009! We had the Lancaster Christmas today, but were missing two siblings! So it was pretty limited. We missed my brother and sister’s families, but we celebrated Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Lancaster! Grandma and Grandpa were both very busy making awesome presents for our family. Grandpa made us another beautiful carved Santa! He looks like the old Santa’s and Carson thought he looked like Jesus! Grandma made each of the kids a new quilt! Each of them was so excited when they opened a “blanket”!

Then finally there was some snuggling going on! The kids were all piled on Grandma and later Grandpa had two very sleepy snugglers with him. They kids had a busy day including lots of sledding and snowboarding! I forgot how much fun it is sledding down the hill! Although I must say the hill seemed much smaller then I remember as a child! I was very proud of Carson, he never whined once about climbing the hill and he eventually was brave enough to slide down the hill by himself! The first time down the hill Lillian yelled out “Ye Haw”, she loved the speed!
