Hanging On

Don't we all have those times when life is crazy and each day is simply enough to get through all on its own.  I love it when a song comes along that just sums out my feelings or needs at a particular time.  The last couple of years has had lots of days that left me "hanging on" to Christ, His promises, and the hope I find in Him!  I am so thankful that I am not alone in all the trials that life has offered up.  So I continue to look to Him and dive into His word for guidance, hope, and enough to get through today.

A couple of weeks a go a sweet lady from church sent me this poem and it has been a constant reminder that today is what I need to focus on.

I AM
I was regretting the past
And fearing the future.
Suddenly, I heard God speak-

My name is "I AM"
He paused, I waited, He said:

When you live in the past
With its mistakes and regrets
It is hard, for I am not there.
My name is not "I Was".

When you live in the future,
