So Proud

What a busy couple of weeks we have had!  Really the summer has flown by.  Over the summer we have been trying to work on attitudes and how we treat each other.  Along with this we have been trying to help Corban focus on his behavior choices.  The biggest thing he had on his report card was to improve his behavior.  So as we head into second grade we are practicing and praying he will take more time to think through his choices.  Carson tends to be the constant complainer so we have had lots of chats about choosing the way we look at things and trying to give our best.

So after many weeks of trying to encourage each of them, they have taken it to heart.  Last night as we were tucking them into bed they were praying!  I ask them to include one thing they were thankful for and one thing they would like Jesus to help them with.  My heart smilied when I heard Carson asking Jesus to help him to have a good attitude and to continue to try hard in everything he does!  Corban was to include the same to questions in his prayers.  He asked Jesus to help him practice making young man choices instead of little boy choices!  WOW!  They have such good hearts and are such great kids!

Troy and I are praying that Corban will have a great school year!  He is such a good kid with such great personality.  We are praying his teacher will see that and help him make some great choices this year.  We are praying that Carson will give his best in pre-school and not become discouraged.  If you can find it in your prayer time to include our boys we would so appreciate it!
