Carson has been waiting for this field trip all year! Finally the day came for the zoo trip. It wasn't the best day weather wise, but let me say not a single kindergartner seemed to mind on bit. It rained the entire weekend and the entire day of the trip. We were prepared with rain boots, raincoats, umbrella's, and lots of layers. I can honestly say I have never been to the zoo in the rain before. The animals are actually quite active! The kids loved interacting several of the animals that are normally pretty quite. Despite the rain we had a great time. Troy took the day off so that he could go too and Carson LOVED that both mom and dad came along! Raining or not I am so glad I got to spend the day with my little man!
