We went apple picking a few weeks ago! We had so much fun. We decided to pick Gala and Honey Crip for eating and then picked some Cortland's to cook with! I made some apple butter and lots of apple sauce. The kids are eating the applesauce as fast as I make it.
We had the pleasure of spending the afternoon apple picking with a couple of friends. Many years ago God began to knit our lives together and I couldn't be happier that he did! They have become family to us and we enjoy spending time together.
The girls went to Indiana the day before apple picking for some girl time. Our destination was Shipshewana IN. We went to the bulk food store and stocked up on items we needed and then spent lots of time walking around looking in the shops. Really it was about laughing and not having a schedule for the day!
