For Thanksgiving this year we headed to Howell to spend some time with Troy's family. His Aunt lives in Howell and works at the nature center there so she rented a building for us all to meet in for Thanksgiving day. She has four girls spread over many states and we were blessed to have two of the girls and their families home for Thanksgiving.
The oldest of the daughters was home and our kids were so excited. Corban got to meet their oldest son several years ago and they had a ball together! I wondered if they would remember each other or if they would still have as much fun playing together. Well it was as if no time had been missed. Michael was waiting for his "best friend/cousin" Corban to come. He met him at the front door and shook his hand. After a few minutes they were playing! Their daughter Ava is five and Lillian thought she was the best thing ever! They all had so much fun playing together and it made me smile to see them enjoying some time with cousins! It makes me wish we all lived a lot closer so we could get together more often.
It was a great day filled with lots of laughs. A great big thanks to Aunt Doris for all the work you did to make such a great day happen! Thanks to Amanda and Derek for driving such a long way, we are so glad you did! Thanks to Ashley for all the stories you let me kids share with you and for letting us help celebrate your daughters first birthday! We missed seeing you Megan and Audra, hopefully we will get to see you soon.
Michael and Corban!
Troy's mom brought silly bands for all the kids! They were busy sorting and trading.
Corban and Michael playing. They wanted to wrestle so badly, but the parents kept saying no.
The newest addition to Amanda and Derek's family, Henry. What an angel, I could of held him forever!
The birthday girl! Happy 1st birthday!
Ava and Lillian!
All the cousins who could walk and were awake at the moment!

Great Post! You managed to get way better pictures than mine. (Please make sure I get a link to yours.) I love the buddy pics of Michael & Corban, so sweet. I hope there is many more reunions like this one over the years. Thanks so much for coming!
