You are probably wondering what is Founders Day? Corban used to love watching Little House on the Prairie. He particularly loved the episode where they have Founders Day in Walnut Grove and played all the various games. Well Troy's mom decided to make her grandson very happy and have a founders day. We started planning what kind of games we would play and how we should do it. Well this year was the third year of founders day. All of our kids look so forward to this day! Some of the games have stayed over the three years and some have changed. It will take several posts, but I will try to give some of the game pics and fun we had. This year was fun because all of the kids could participate. We had a couple people not feeling the best, but we still all had fun!!!
To start we have the donut eating game! Whoever eats the donut up first wins! Corban loves this game and requested that it be in this years games! I had trouble eating mine because I was laughing so hard!

Next was a new game. We had to take a string connected to the end of a plastic spoon and put it up one shirt and down the next. We played boys against girls and I must say the boys lost terribly. They really need to work on their speed. We had a ton of fun!

Next was another new game! We had to put on the shirt then hold hands with the next person. It was then up to the other players on your team to get the shirt off you and on the person you are holding hands with. This one was lots of fun, but we didn't split the teams up the best. Grandma and Grandpa took Lilly and Carson which proved difficult when Grandma and Grandpa had to switch the shirt!

This game is one we have done for two years! The kids love it and have practiced it. We start with a pile of items that need to be put on, then you must run down and back and switch to the next person. Once all your team is through you win!
