You can with I AM!

I have been reading a book by Thelma Wells that talks alot about putting on the full armour of God.  It has been such a great book.  She has a section where she talks about what our lives can conquer because we walk with God within us.  I was reminded of the power that we have in Christ from the list and thought I would share it. 

"You can because I am the I AM"

• I Am above every mountain you have to climb.
• I Am under every valley you go through.
• I Am centered in every strom that rages in your life.
• I Am in every river you must cross.
• I Am over every height that blocks your way.
• I Am in every whirlwind that spins you around.
• I Am weeping with you in the tear-filled bed.
• I Am standing with you in every courtroom.
• I Am sitting with you in every hospital room.
• I Am listening every time you call.
• I Am walking with you through grief and pain.
• I Am studying with you for and in every academic test.
• I Am grieving with you when you're abused.
• I Am holding you when you're depressed.
• I Am your anchor when a spouse or friend walks out on you.
• I Am the redeemer of your children when they go astray.
• I Am protecting you when you're frightened.
• I Am comforting you when you're lonely.
• I Am sustaining you when your business is about to fold.
• I Am creating wealth for you when you're in poverty.
• I Am your heart's desire when you have no hope.
• I Am your way-maker when there seems to be no path.
• I Am your trusted freind when you have to friends.
• I Am your wisdom when you make foolish mistakes.
• I Am your forgiver when you sin against me, yourself, or others.
• I Am your saftey in times of danger.
• I Am your confidence when you feel incompetent.
• I Am your justice when fairness fails.
• I Am your light in darkness when you can't find your way.
• I Am your stabilizer when your emotions run rampant.
• I Am your teacher when you have lessons to learn.
• I Am you chastiser when you need a reprimand.
• I Am your mercy-giver when you need mercy.
• I Am your grace-giver when you need grace.
• I Am your reminder when you forget about Me.
• I Am your refuge when you need a hiding place.
• I Am your strength when you're falling apart.
• I Am your healer when your body or heart is sick.
• I Am your source when your resources are gone.
• I Am your pardon when you're guilty.
• I Am your patience when you're too hasty.
• I Am your kindness when you're grumpy.
• I Am your buffer when you need someone to intercede.
• I Am your intelligent interpreter when you don't understand.
• I Am your joy in times of sorrow.
• I Am your peace-speaker when you're anxious.
• I Am your solid rock when your feet slipping.
• I Am your ability to stand tall when people speak evil against you.
• I Am your mind-regulator when you don't know who you are or what your life purpose is.
• I Am your mother, father, sister, and brother when you're all alone.
• I Am your Adonai, your Lord, your Master.
• I Am your El Shaddai, your almighty God.
• I Am your battle axe.
• I Am your victory in times of war.

Who is the great I Am to you?

This list is amazing to me.  I have seen God's hands in my life in so many of these circumstances.  I am always thankful that God would choose to love me.  That through all of lifes mistakes and hardships he walks beside me.  I really don't understand how you can make it through life without a relationship with Jesus?  My life would be so different without the love of Christ.  I wouldn't have a marriage, love for life, understanding of why I am here, hope for the future, forgiveness, peace, days filled with joy, and so many more.

I am still praying for the people in my life who don't understand the love of Christ personally.  I am thankful for who the great I Am is and continues to be!
