Off to Grandpa’s house Corban goes! Let the adventure begin. My parents still live in the house I grew up in and they raised three kids in. It is a perfect setting for raising a family, lots of space to explore! This is one of the many reasons Corban loves it so much! So he has headed off to Grandpa and Grandma’s for a couple of days to play! My dad is always up to something out in the barn, so Corban loves to be his right hand man and help! Not to mention the hill that is perfect for sledding, the pond that is great for ice skating, and the woods that is perfect for many different adventures!
As they left the first stop was Corban’s favorite place to eat! “You know the place where you can throw the stuff on the floor!”. Who doesn’t love throwing things on the floor? After they ate at Logans they were headed to the store and then home to play! Last year when he stayed with Grandpa for a few days he made a beautiful wooden cross to hang in our bedroom! He so loves the time he gets to spend with his grandpa and I love knowing that they are making memories and a connection that can’t be replaced.
Just a couple of pics from this summer! He loves the pond and all the creatures inside! In the summer his favorite activites are playing on the swing set, digging in the sandbox (Grandpa hid pennies in there so he loves finding them), fishing for sharks with long sticks from the willow trees, hunting for bears, trapping deer, catching frogs or anything else out of the pond, riding his bike, and playing with Grandma and Grandpa's dogs.
